speaking & workshops
Hi! I'm Suzanne Yada, aka @ Little Spiral @, and I'm a songwriter who loves to speak to tech, marketing, and business audiences about innovation and the creative process.
The challenges your team faces is coming up with new exciting ideas. They feel stuck in the same old rut; repeating the same work routines and not feeling very creative. The pressure is on them to be “innovative” and “disruptive” but they’re disillusioned and out of ideas. They might feel pressure to come up with something out of nothing, but they’re faced with the blank-page syndrome.
My solution is to think outside of your industry for coming up with ideas. There’s a process songwriters use — taking existing templates like verses, choruses and bridges, and adding twists to give it new life and meaning. You’d be surprised how creative you can be when faced with the limitations of a template. Let me show you how a songwriter comes up with new ideas and how you can use the same 3-step method to recharge your team's creativity.

what i can offer your event

Keyed Note keynote speech
I bring a mix of stories, original songs, and step-by-step deconstruction of the creative process. Prepare to learn something, laugh at something and feel something.
- Online or in-person events
- Length: From 30-60 minutes
- Needs: For in-person events: slides setup, keyboard/piano setup, mic and sound check
- Preferred: If venue/hotel has a piano available, great, but I can bring my own keyboard if needed

Workshop / team-building / offsite
Let's write a song together! I offer an interactive workshop in addition to - and separate from - the keynote speech. The workshop applies the same creative method I speak about to a live songwriting experience. It's a whole lot of fun, even if you've never written a song before. It works great for team-building and offsite events as well.
- Online or in-person events
- Length: Comes in 90-minute, 2-hour or 3-hour options
- Needs: For in-person events: whiteboard, piano/keyboard setup, fewer than 30 people
- Preferred: Movable chairs for circling
